DETACHABLE PLATE HEAT EXCHANGUER
Plate heat exchangers with gaskets are used to transmit thermal energy from a fluid to another one, both flowing independently, counter current and without mixing of flows.
The heat exchanger surfaces are made of plates of stainless steel AISI 316L or Titanium, mounted one after the other.
The plates are provided with EPDM-PRX gaskets, which prevent fluids leakage to the exterior, thereby, the liquids are never mixed. The gaskets, as well as the connections, are made of compatible materials with the working temperatures for which the heat exchanger is intended and also the type of fluids.
The hydraulic closure is achieved by subjecting the plate heat exchanger to an effort of compression through bolts and hex nuts installed on the frame.
Working conditions: Maximum working pressure 10 bar (16 bar under request) Maximum working temperature 140ÂșC.
Technical data: Frame made of carbon steel, plates made of stainless steel AISI 316L (or titanium, to consult); connections made of stainless steel 304 (or mopplen for plate heat exchanger of titanium) with male thread. Plate thickness: 0,6mm.
Applications: DHW installations (with boilers, solar collectors, etc,) installations of superheated water and vapour, heating/ refrigeration of liquids of the chemical industry, food industry, etc (glycol, thermal oil, ...) evaporators or condensers and swimming pool heating.
