DEPÓSITOS PORTELA, S.L. (original name of company Mecalia) was established in 1982 focused on manufacture of liquid fule tanks and products for heating systems.

After 20 años activity, in 2002 DEPÓSITOS PORTELA, S.L. is renamed as MECALIA – METALÚRGICA Y CALDERERÍA, S.L.

Nowadays keeping our philosophy of innovation we are a leading and independent manufacturer offering a wide range and high quality water tanks and cylinders for DHW and HVAC systems. We pride ourselves on our extensive technical knowledge and experience, allow us to design, manufacture and distribute the most advanced products, which are adapted both to the use of new energies and to the new needs of the consumer, and building strong bussiness relationships with our customers.
MASTERS IN HVAC AND DHW SYSTEMS
We manufacture and commercialize domestic hot water (DHW) cylinders and storage tanks for heating both through renewable energy systems (solar thermal, biomass and geothermal) and conventional energy (fuels, solid, liquid or gaseous). We also develop inertial tanks for closed air conditioning and refrigeration circuits in different materials and volumes; also we continue manufacturing tanks for liquid fuels and LPG. In addition, we commercialize expansion vessels, plate exchangers, solar panels and thermosiphonic equipment to complement market’s needs.
Our manufacturing process and the high quality of the materials we use allow us to offer a wide variety of products, both standard and customized, with the best guarantees and added value of peace of mind.
